From a New Orleans record bearing his own writing and production credits to an Atlanta entertainment company, Ren Leo has a story of his own to tell.
Before the name Ren Leo appeared in Atlanta entertainment, Rennix Leo was recording in New Orleans as Big Ren. The credits for his 2002 album That Streets Won't Let Me Go name him as a writer, producer, and executive producer. The album stands as a documented starting point for his work in music.
The independent record was released on Corrupt Inmate Records. Its credits trace an artist involved not only in performing, but in shaping the record behind the scenes. That is Ren's own work — not a claim about any of the celebrated people who later appeared in his photo archive.
His interests reached beyond recording. A 2011 announcement identified Leo and his Mirror Vision Entertainment as attached to The Trail, a proposed film with writer-director Michael Gerald. The announcement described a plan; it does not establish that the film was completed or released.
Today, Leo's professional profile identifies him as CEO of Mirrorvision Entertainment in Atlanta.
